Officials say Lake Cumberland on the rise with barrier wall complete

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District held a Completion Ceremony of rehabilitation work for the Wolf Creek at the Russell County Schools Auditorium/Natatorium. Wolf Creek Dam is on the Cumberland River in south central Kentucky. The lake's huge water storage capability provides downstream communities with important flood risk reduction, and additional water resources supporting commercial navigation, water supply, water quality, hydropower, and environmental benefits.
