WRDA Transportation Permits

Section 214 of the Water Resources Development Act (WRDA) of 2000, as amended (33 U.S.C. 2352), provides the authority to accept and expend funds from certain entities to expedite the review of permit applications. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Nashville District, currently has an agreement with the Tennessee Department of Transportation under this funding mechanism.
