    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 9, 2019) -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announces recreation facilities affected by a pool of record at Lake Cumberland in February 2019 are reopening earlier than projected.
  • NR 19-030: Public invited to provide comments for Dale Hollow Lake Master Plan revision

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 3, 2019) -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District invites the public to a workshop for revision of the Dale Hollow Lake Master Plan from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2019 at the Livingston Community Center in Livingston, Tenn. Corps officials are also available to discuss changes to the Master Plan and to receive public comments during daytime hours June 6 at the Resource Manager’s Office in Celina, Tenn.
  • NR 19-029: Corps conducting flood reduction surveys in Bell County

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 18, 2019) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District is performing structure surveys in Bell County, Kentucky during the spring and summer of 2019 to identify homes and businesses that are vulnerable to a recurrence of the destructive April 1977 flood, the most severe flood in the region in the last six decades.

    CARTHAGE, Tenn. (April 18, 2019) – Cordell Hull Lake is offering the America the Beautiful Recreation Passes and Corps of Engineers Annual Pass for the 2019 recreation season from May 1 until Sept. 2, 2019 at its developed recreation areas.

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 18, 2019) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District and Tennessee Valley Authority invite the public for a free tour of Fort Loudoun Lock at Tennessee River mile 602.3 in Lenoir City, Tenn., Saturday, July 13, 2019.
  • NR 19-025: Public invited for Cordell Hull Dam Powerhouse tour on Cumberland River

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 18, 2019) -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District invites the public for a free tour of Cordell Hull Dam Hydropower Plant in Carthage, Tenn. Free tours for the general public are Saturday, May 18; and Saturday, June 15.

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 18, 2019) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District and Tennessee Valley Authority invite the public for a free tour of Watts Bar Lock at Tennessee River mile 529.9 in Decatur, Tenn., Saturday, June 22, 2019.
  • NR 19-023: Public invited for Wilson Lock tour on Tennessee River

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 16, 2019) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District and Tennessee Valley Authority invite the public for a free tour of Wilson Lock at Tennessee River mile 259.4 in Florence, Ala., Saturday, June 8, 2019. Four groups of 25 will be able to tour the facility at 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., and 12:30 p.m. Central Time. Pre-registration is required for all tour guests (including minors). The deadline to register is May 29, 2019. Personal information collected during sign-up is used for security background checks.
