    Nashville District pushes full STEAM ahead with teacher focused externships

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June. 12, 2023) – Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math educators from Metro Nashville Public Schools and Clarksville-Montgomery County School System wanted to find creative ways to educate their students and bridge the gap between learning and practical application. They turned to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District for inspiration.

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Nov. 15, 2019) –Technical experts from the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District interacted with students from across Nashville introducing Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) careers during the 11th annual My Future, My Way Career Exploration Fair at the Music City Convention Center Nov. 15.

Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District prepared students for future STEM careers during the “My Future, My Way” Career Exploration Fair at two exhibits sponsored by the Metro Nashville Public schools Academies of Nashville and the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce at Music City Convention Center Oct. 27, 2016.

(April 14, 2015) – A group of technical experts from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District attended a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Science Expo as judges and staffed an exhibit sponsored by the Middle Tennessee STEM Innovation Hub at the Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro on April 9.
