    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 29, 2023) – Park rangers in Tennessee and Kentucky are stepping up efforts to promote water safety in lieu of 10 tragic drownings already this recreation season at Corps lakes in the Cumberland River Basin.

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 14, 2015) – A group of park rangers, regulators and engineering technicians took a class April 6-10 to learn the basics of collecting and analyzing geospatial data for natural resource management and the protection of the nation’s waterways.

    Old Hickory park rangers garner Nashville District’s Hedgehog Award

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Jan. 10, 2012) – Ten Old Hickory Lake park rangers garnered the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District’s Hedgehog Award at the headquarters today for promoting water safety and educating the public in an effort to reduce public fatalities at Corps lakes.
