CELINA, Tenn. (July 26, 2011) — The Corps of Engineers at Dale Hollow Lake invites visitors to enter their pictures in its quarterly photo contest! Entrants whose photos are selected will receive two nights camping on Dale Hollow Lake.
While enjoying the lake, people are encouraged to keep their camera handy to capture the fun and memories of their visit, the beauty only Dale Hollow can offer. Photos that show why visitors love it at the lake are wanted!
"This photo contest is a fun way for the Corps of Engineers to interact with the visitors to Dale Hollow Lake and to see the recreation, scenery and activities ongoing on the lake and in our recreation areas," said Stephen Beason, resource manager at Dale Hollow Lake. "Pretty much everyone has a digital camera these days, so I’m excited to see the entries that we get."
Some notable rules of the contest are photographs containing nudity, obscenity, profanity, pornography, violence, and anything that is lewd or offensive in nature, or otherwise inappropriate images will be excluded from the contest. The U.S. Government reserves the right at its sole discretion to reject and disqualify any images that are considered inappropriate or depicting unsafe activities.
