    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 30, 2018) – U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District park rangers at Cordell Hull Lake are hosting the first annual “Touch a Truck Day” 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 2018 to coincide with “National Get Outdoors Day.”

  • NR 18-016: Public invited for Chickamauga Lock tour on Tennessee River

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 10, 2018) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District and Tennessee Valley Authority invite the public for a free tour of Chickamauga Lock at Tennessee River mile 471 in Chattanooga, Tenn., Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018. Four groups of 25 will be able to tour the facility at 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., and 12:30 p.m. Pre-registration is required for all tour guests (including minors).

  • NR 18-015: Public invited for Wheeler Lock tour on Tennessee River

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 10, 2018) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District and Tennessee Valley Authority invite the public for a free tour of Wheeler Lock at Tennessee River mile 274.9 in Rogersville, Ala., Saturday, July 21, 2018. Four groups of 25 will be able to tour the facility at 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., and 12:30 p.m. Central Time. Pre-registration is required for all tour guests (including minors).

  • NR 18-014: Public invited for Cheatham Lock, Dam, Powerhouse tour on Cumberland River

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 10, 2018) -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District invites the public for a free tour of Cheatham Lock, Dam and Hydropower Plant in Ashland City, Tenn. Free tours for the general public are Saturday, July 21; and Saturday, Sept. 8. Tours of the facility are limited to 45 persons and each tour begins at 11 a.m. Central Time. Pre-registration is required for all tour guests, including minors. The deadline to register is seven business days prior to scheduled tour. Personal information collected during sign-up is used for security background checks.

  • NR 18-013: Public invited for Wilson Lock tour on Tennessee River

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 9, 2018) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District and Tennessee Valley Authority invite the public for a free tour of Wilson Lock at Tennessee River mile 259.4 in Florence, Ala., Saturday, June 16, 2018. Four groups of 25 will be able to tour the facility at 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., and 12:30 p.m. Pre-registration is required for all tour guests (including minors). The deadline to register is June 8, 2018.

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 9, 2018) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District and Tennessee Valley Authority invite the public for a free tour of Fort Loudoun Lock at Tennessee River mile 602.3 in Lenoir City, Tenn., Saturday, June 9, 2018.

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 4, 2018) -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District invites the public to a workshop for the Center Hill Lake Master Plan revision from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at the DeKalb County Community Complex in Smithville, Tenn. The open house is 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, May 24, 2018 at the Center Hill Lake Resource Manager’s Office in Lancaster, Tenn.
