    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Sept. 13, 2016) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District and the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources is hosting the annual Lake Barkley Duck Blind Drawing Monday, Sept. 19, 2016 at the Barkley Tailwater Shelter. It is adjacent to Barkley Powerhouse at Kuttawa, Ky., in Lyon County.
  • NR 16-024: Dale Hollow Lake marinas recertified as ‘Clean Marinas’

    ALLONS, TENN., (Sept. 9, 2016) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District recertified two Dale Hollow Lake marinas as “Clean Marinas” during ceremonies Aug. 26, 2016, which recognized the marina operators and owners who are voluntarily striving to protect the water resources of the Cumberland River Basin by going “clean and green.”
  • NR 16-023: Road closure scheduled for inspection of Center Hill Dam

    LANCASTER, Tenn. (Sept. 9, 2016) — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announces that the section of State Highway 141/96 that crosses over Center Hill Dam will be closed to all traffic 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 12-15, 2016 while engineers conduct an inspection.
