(March 29, 2019) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District is in the process of supplementing the Lake Barkley Master Plan reclassifying the Lock C site in Montgomery County, Tenn., from “Multiple Resource Management – Low Density Recreation” to “Multiple Resource Management – Future/Inactive Recreation Area.” This designation would allow the Corps of Engineers to reassign the area to the U.S. Army Garrison at Fort Campbell, Ky.
