    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Sept. 23, 2019) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District’s Old Hickory Lake Resource Management Office is holding two public workshops for its shoreline management plan update.
  • NR 19-030: Public invited to provide comments for Dale Hollow Lake Master Plan revision

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 3, 2019) -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District invites the public to a workshop for revision of the Dale Hollow Lake Master Plan from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2019 at the Livingston Community Center in Livingston, Tenn. Corps officials are also available to discuss changes to the Master Plan and to receive public comments during daytime hours June 6 at the Resource Manager’s Office in Celina, Tenn.
  • NR 18-002: Public workshop rescheduled for Cheatham Lake shoreline management update

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Jan. 30, 2017) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District has rescheduled a public workshop to provide input concerning the Cheatham Lake Shoreline Management Plan five-year review. The workshop is rescheduled for 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018 at the Ashland City Elementary School Library in Ashland City, Tenn. In case of inclement weather, please call the Cheatham Lake Resource Manager’s Office at (615) 792-5697 by 4 p.m. to verify scheduling.

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 24, 2017) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announces that Cheatham Lake is holding a master plan revision public workshop 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017 at the Ashland City Elementary School Library in Ashland City, Tenn.
  • NR 16-31: Public workshops scheduled for Lake Barkley's Master Plan update

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Nov. 9, 2016) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announces that Lake Barkley is holding two Master Plan Update public workshops in November. The first is Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Lyon County Convention Center in Eddyville, Ky. The second is Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Stewart County Visitor Center in Dover, Tenn.
  • NR 16-004: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District updates Old Hickory Lake Master Plan

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Feb. 10, 2016) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District has updated the Old Hickory Lake Master Plan. The 2016 Master Plan, associated environmental assessment, and signed finding of no significant impact are posted on the Old Hickory Lake website.
  • NR 15-002: Work crews top out Kentucky Lock’s first concrete monolith

    GRAND RIVERS, Ky. (Jan. 28, 2015) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District placed concrete to top-out the first massive concrete monolith for the Kentucky Lock Addition project this past week. This milestone is a significant step towards completion of the new 1,200-foot-long navigation lock at Kentucky Dam.
  • NR 14-024: Updated Old Hickory Lake Shoreline Management Plan available to public

    HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (Aug. 11, 2014) — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announced today that the 2014 Old Hickory Lake Shoreline Management Plan is finalized and available to the public online at http://www.lrn.usace.army.mil/Locations/Lakes/OldHickoryLake. Hard copies can also be picked up at the Old Hickory Lake Resource Manager’s Office located at No. 5 Power Plant Road.
