NR 20-025: Nashville District to resume collection of day-use fees

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Oct. 1, 2020) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announces that it will resume the collection of fees at its day use recreation areas beginning Oct. 8. Fee collections were suspended earlier this year when recreation areas were closed due to COVID-19 precautions.

Army Corps of Engineers waives fees on National Public Lands Day, Sept. 30

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced that it will waive day use fees normally charged at boat launch ramps and swimming beaches at its recreation areas nationwide in recognition of National Public Lands Day on Saturday, Sept. 30. The waiver does not apply to camping and camping-related services, or fees for specialized facilities such as group picnic shelters. Other agencies and partners that manage recreation areas located on USACE lands are encouraged, but not required, to comply with this waiver of day use fees in the areas they manage.

NR 12-016: Fees waived June 14 at Nashville District day use areas for 237th Army birthday

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 7, 2012) – In celebration of the U.S. Army’s 237th birthday June 14, 2012, day-use fees are being waived at all U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District day use areas by Lt. Col. James A. DeLapp, district commander.
