    OLD HICKORY, Tenn. (June 7, 2018) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District is offering public access to Old Hickory Navigation Lock located at Cumberland River mile 216.2. The lock is accessible to visitors seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. now through Sept. 3, 2018.

    ASHLAND CITY, Tenn. (May 24, 2017) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District is offering public access to Cheatham Navigation Lock, located at Cumberland River mile 148.7. The lock viewing area is open to visitors seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from May 26 until Sept. 8, 2017.

    ASHLAND CITY, Tenn. (Aug. 8, 2014) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announced today that it is offering public access to Cheatham Navigation Lock beginning Aug. 11, 2014. The lock will be accessible to visitors seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Sept. 30, 2014.
  • NR 12-044: Corps hosts a campfire family night at Lake Cumberland

    SOMERSET, Ky. (Oct. 31, 2012) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District invites the public to spend an evening of fun under the stars during Lake Cumberland’s Campfire Family Night. The event is from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16 at Lake Cumberland’s Natural Resource Management Office located at 855 Boat Dock Road in Somerset, Ky.
  • NR 12-028: Corps dedicating new Cordell Hull Lake Resource Manager’s Office

    CARTHAGE, Tenn. (July 16, 2012) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District is hosting a dedication ceremony for the newly constructed Cordell Hull Lake Resource Manager’s Office 9 a.m. Friday, July 20. The new facility replaces the previous building destroyed in a fire Sept. 26, 2008. The public and media are invited to the 9 a.m. dedication and an open house following the ceremony from 10 a.m. to noon.
