(Sept. 11, 2023) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announces Dale Hollow Dam Road is closing to all traffic across the dam beginning 8 a.m. Sept. 18 until 5 p.m. Sept. 21, 2023, for inspection of the bridge and roadway, and spillway gates and supporting structures.

  • NR 23-17: Old Hickory Lake’s Rockland Recreation Area limited to participants during triathlon June 17

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 16, 2023) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announces public access to Rockland Recreation Area, including boat ramp, at Old Hickory Lake in Hendersonville, Tennessee, is limited only to participants of a special triathlon event 5 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 17, 2023.
  • NR 23-06: Pleasant Grove closing for parking lot paving

    CELINA, Tenn. (March 30, 2023) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announces Pleasant Grove Recreation Area at Dale Hollow Lake in Celina, Tennessee, is closing to all recreational use beginning on or around April 6, 2023, to repair, pave and stripe the parking lot. The anticipated closure should last through April 20, 2023. This timeframe may adjust based on weather.

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 4, 2021) - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announces the immediate closure of Spillway Beach at Laurel River Lake in London, Kentucky, due to E.coli detected in the water. High water levels and geese are suspected to be the cause.
