    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Jan. 22, 2018) – Due to the ongoing government shutdown, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District is cancelling a public workshop to update the Cheatham Lake Shoreline Management Plan previously scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018 at the Ashland City Elementary School Library in Ashland City, Tenn. This workshop will be rescheduled at the conclusion of the shutdown.

The workshop is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018 at the Ashland City Elementary School Library in Ashland City, Tenn. The lock viewing area is open to visitors seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from May 26 until Sept. 8, 2017.

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 8, 2015) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District is offering the public free guided tours of Cordell Hull Power Plant and Lock located in Carthage, Tenn. Not all portions of the dam will be accessible to the public due to safety concerns. Approximately 45 minutes in length, tours are scheduled on June 13 and July 11, with the tour beginning at 10 a.m. both days.
