    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 8, 2015) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District is offering the public free guided tours of Cordell Hull Power Plant and Lock located in Carthage, Tenn. Not all portions of the dam will be accessible to the public due to safety concerns. Approximately 45 minutes in length, tours are scheduled on June 13 and July 11, with the tour beginning at 10 a.m. both days.

    HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (Aug. 11, 2014) — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announced today that the 2014 Old Hickory Lake Shoreline Management Plan is finalized and available to the public online at http://www.lrn.usace.army.mil/Locations/Lakes/OldHickoryLake. Hard copies can also be picked up at the Old Hickory Lake Resource Manager’s Office located at No. 5 Power Plant Road.

(July 31, 2014) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District is preparing an environmental assessment in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act, and is seeking public comment for a flood risk management study for the Cumberland River, Browns Creek, Richland Creek and Whites Creek.

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 14, 2014) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District recently awarded a contract to construct an accessible fishing access sidewalk in the Barkley Dam tailwater area. Work on this project begins today and will continue for approximately six months.

    JAMESTOWN, Ky. (May 30, 2014) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District is offering public tours of the Wolf Creek Dam Powerhouse here Saturday, June 21, July 5, Aug. 16 and Sept. 6, 2014. The free guided tours of the structure are at noon and are approximately 45 minutes in length.
