NR 15-034: Bell Road scheduled for closure over J. Percy Priest Dam

NASHVILLE, TENN. (Sept. 24, 2015)The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announces that Bell Road over J. Percy Priest Dam is closing to all traffic from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Oct. 6-8, 2015 while maintenance personnel perform a routine inspection of the bridge.

Pedestrians and bicycles are also not permitted to cross over the dam on Bell Road during the inspection.  The Stones River Greenway Trailhead, the J. Percy Priest Lake Visitor Center, the overlook and the right bank tail water area will remain open during the road closure.
