General recognizes security officer wounded in Iraq IED attack
Maj. Gen. Gonzales submitted Johnson for the Defense of Freedom Medal. The general presented the medal April 8, 2019 on behalf of Secretary of the Army Mark T. Esper during a ceremony held at the Tennessee Valley Authority Central Labs near Chickamauga Lock in Chattanooga, Tenn.
