Officer lauded for major contributions at Oak Ridge site preparation project
Lt. Col. John L. Hudson (Left), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District commander, presents Maj. Timothy E. Nix with a ukulele May 14, 2015 as a symbol of his time working with the Nashville District in Music City. Nix worked primarily as a project engineer on the $19.5 million site preparation work at the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, Tenn. The Corps began construction in June 2013 and culminated its work in January 2015.
