Corps help Wounded Warriors transition back into work force
Jeffery Hitchcock, a construction manager with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District teaches Staff Sgt. John Fontaine a service member working in the Operation War fighter program. Operation Warfighter is the first professional transition program active wounded warriors can experience and USACE’s Nashville District is applying it on a group scale. Nashville District partnered with Fort Campbell office where district personnel initiated an active recruiting campaign, interviewing wounded warriors at the base’s WTU for OWF intern positions.
