Day Use Fees

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Old Hickory Lake charges a day use fee at selected recreation areas. The areas on Old Hickory Lake charging these fees are Cedar Creek Day Use, Laguardo Day Use, and Old Hickory Beach Day Use. These three areas offer sand swimming beaches, playgrounds, launching ramps, bathrooms, picnic sites and picnic shelters. The fees are $5.00 per vehicle per day. 

Payment of the fee will permit the use of similar day use facilities at any Corps project on the date of payment. A paid camping permit from a Corps operated campground will entitle the holder to use any designated day use facility without paying the day user fee on the day for which the camping permit is valid.

If a Senior Pass is used for camping or day use entrance, a photo ID must be provided and the back of the card signed by the cardholder.

Annual Passes

Day Use Annual Passes are available for sale at the Old Hickory Lake Visitors Center, at Laguardo Day Use, Cages Bend Campground, Cedar Creek Campground and Old Hickory Beach Day Use areas. Annual Passes cost $40.

Note: Not all recreational facilities on Old Hickory Lake are operated by the Corps of Engineers and thus the recreational fees charged, if any, are not necessarily compatible. You can no longer use another pass to purchase an Annual Pass.
