Make a Reservation

Call toll-free 1-877-444-6777 between 10 a.m. to midnight Eastern Standard Time to make a reservation. Please note call centers are closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day. You can also get information and make reservations online here at Recreation.gov.

Long Branch Campground will be open for the 2022 recreation season April 14 through October 31.  Gates close 2:30pm CST on November 1st.

 

 FIREWOOD ALERT
To help prevent the spread of Emerald Ash Borer and other forest pests, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is prohibiting firewood that is non certified heat-treated firewood.  When camping or picnicking at this recreation area, purchase your firewwood.  When camping or picknicking at this recreation area, puchase your firewood from a vendor who sells certified heat-treated firewood.  Don't bring firewood from home.  Visit Firewood Scout or Don't Move Firewood for further information.

 

Long Branch Campground

Welcome to Long Branch Campground!

The Long Branch Campground is located just below Center Hill Dam on the Caney Fork River Tailwater in Lancaster, TN. The campground offers 60 sites and is popular for cold water trout fishing.

The Long Branch Registration Center hours are:

Mon. & Thurs. 11 am to 5 pm

Tues. & Wed. CLOSED

Fri. & Sat. 10 am to 7 pm

Sun. 12 noon to 6 pm

If the Registration Center is closed when you arrive please select a non-reserved site and return to register for your stay during the hours listed above.

Directions

From Smithville:  from the intersection of U. S. 70 and State Route 56, follow U. S. 70 west 5.6 miles to State Route 96 North (Dale Ridge Road) and turn right. Follow State Route 96 north 10.7 miles to Center Hill Dam and turn left before the dam on State Route 141 travel .4 (4/10’s) mile and Long Branch is located on the right at the bottom of the hill, adjacent to Center Hill Dam.

 From I-40:  Exit 268 and follow State Route 96 south 3.6 miles to the junction of State Route 141/96. Turn right and follow State Route 141/96 west 1.1 miles to Center Hill Dam, immediately after crossing the dam turn right on State Route 141 travel .4 (4/10’s) mile. Long Branch is located on the right at the bottom of the hill, adjacent to Center Hill Dam.
