The Department of Defense Civilian Personnel Management Service has a self-service, employment verification tool on My Biz that allows federal service employees to e-mail employment and/or salary information directly to an external organization (business, bank, credit union).  For more information, go to the Human Resources Business, Information, and Technology Solutions Division website. Employees must login into My Biz and initiate this process. Federal agencies do not confirm employment of its federal employees over the phone.
