Environmental
Assessment (EA), Cumberland City By-Pass Channel, Maintenance Dredging
and Upland Disposal Site F. Cumberland River Miles 102.0-104.5, Stewart
County, Tennessee; Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI), and Notice
of Availability (NOA) of these documents for a 30-day public review.
This proposed project is located at Cumberland City, TN. Eight
alternatives and six potential upland disposal sites were considered.
Three alternatives were evaluated in detail: Alternative 1 No Action;
means that no work will be done. Alternative 2 Proposed Alternative
Hydraulic Dredge and Upland Disposal Site F; and Alternative 3
Clamshell Dredge and In-River Disposal. Upland disposal of dredge

Draft
Environmental Assessment (EA), unsigned Finding of No Significant
Impact, and Notice of Availability for Proposed Commercial Marinas at 3
sites (Saunders Branch Cove, Station Camp Creek, and Davis Corner) on
Old Hickory Lake, Tennessee.
This EA addresses three proposed marina sites and the alternatives
considered: (a) No Action, this would result in rejection of all three
commercial marina proposals and denying the lease applications. (b)
Approval of a Single Proposal, this would involve the acceptance of any
one of the three applications, issuing the lease and allowing the chosen
to proceed toward construction (pending issuance of future Department of
Army permits), and (c) Approval of All or a Combination of proposals,
acceptance of any two or all three proposals, issuing two or all leases,
and allowing those marinas to proceed toward construction (pending
issuance of future Department of Army permits). |

Environmental Assessment for Lake
Cumberland, Kentucky Proposed Master Plan Update. Findings of the EA
conclude that the preferred action for full implementation of the
proposed Master Plan Update would not constitute an action that would
significantly affect the quality of the human environment within the
meaning of the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, as amended.
Full implementation of the Update would incorporate three actions: a)
project land and water allocations and classifications would be made
current, b) an analysis of resource use would be conducted, and c) an
evaluation of existing and future needs and demands on the project would
be completed. |
