Recreation Area Parking
Although the table above shows parking will accommodate a certain number of
vehicles, parking is not included in the shelter reservation. Day use
recreation area parking is open to the general public for use of the various
facilities located at each recreation area. The volume of cars in the lots
will vary on any given day and parking is on a first come, first served
basis.
There is a $4 per vehicle day use entrance fee charged at Cedar Creek,
Laguardo, and Old Hickory Beach recreation areas in addition to the shelter
reservation fee. This fee only allows the entrance to use recreational
facilities on the day of purchase and does not guarantee parking if a
customer chooses to leave the recreation area and return if the recreation
area becomes full.
