Section 8377 of the Water Resources Development Act (WRDA) of 2022, states the USACE is to transfer the ~3.3 acres of real estate tracts to ERIDA.     NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Sept. 26, 2022) -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District is initiating scoping under the National Environmental Policy Act to evaluate measures and alternatives to manage and prevent the spread of invasive carp in the Tennessee River, Cumberland River, and northern section of the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway as authorized by Section 509 of the Water Resource Development Act of 2020.

  • Proposed Surface Water Drainage Improvements to Barkley Dam Embankment; Lyon County, Kentucky

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Nashville District (USACE), in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), is evaluating the impacts of proposed construction actions at Lake Barkley Dam, Lyon County Kentucky. The construction items considered in this evaluation include: (1) site grading approximately 10 acres of land adjacent to the toe of Barkley Dam; (2) installation of six culverts; (3) construction of two drainage ditches; (4) deforestation of approximately 12.7 acres of mature pine stand.
