Beginning March 21, 2022, Barkley Lock will close from 6:00 A.M. – 6:00 P.M. daily, until March 27, 2022. Contractors will conduct dive inspections and repairs to the BAFF system in the lower approach of the lock. During this time, Barkley Lock will open in the evening from 6:00 P.M. – 6:00 A.M. Kentucky Lock will continue to operate 24 hours per day.
