    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 6, 2019) – Business leaders converged on Music City today for the 9th Annual Small Business Industry Day at Tennessee State University and the Business Opportunities Open House, commonly referred to as the “BOOH” event.

    Business Opportunities Open House provides access to the Corps

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 15, 2017) – Business leaders met with Corps of Engineers officials at Tennessee State University today for the Business Opportunities Open House, commonly referred to as the “BOOH” event.

    Small businesses get treated at Nashville District’s ‘BOOH’ event

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 16, 2017) – Small businesses were treated to a unique event today that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District dubbed “BOOH,” which is not a scary reference to Halloween but is a cute acronym for its first annual Business Opportunities Open House.

    Speed dating forges small business relationships with federal agencies

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 15, 2017) – Small business leaders did not expect to find cupid during the 6th Annual Small Business Industry Day at the Tennessee Small Business Development Center today, but they did seem to love one-on-one attention using the speed-dating concept to forge greater relationships with federal agencies and large businesses.

    Forum highlights women-owned small businesses

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 17, 2016) – More than 350 business owners and managers visited Music City today to get more in tune with federal, state and local procurement systems during the 5th Annual Small Business Training Forum at the Tennessee State University Avon Williams Campus.

    Forum focuses on networking for success

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 11, 2015) – More than 255 business owners and managers and representative from as far away as Detroit, California, Florida and Indiana gathered at the Tennessee State University Avon Williams Campus today to network and collect information on federal, state and local procurement systems at the 4th Annual Small Business Forum themed “Back to Business.”

    Forum focuses on woman owned business

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 13, 2013) – More than 250 business owners and managers received extensive information about woman owned business opportunities within the federal, state and local procurement systems during the 2nd Annual Small Business Training Forum today at the Tennessee State University Avon Williams Campus.
