NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 19, 2012) – Lesslie Y. Williams, a budget technician in the Mid Cumberland Area office at Center Hill Lake in Lancaster, Tenn., is the Nashville District’s Employee of the Month for January 2012.

Nashville District officials recently announced her selection and said she received this recognition for stepping up to the plate and taking on a heavy workload when concurrent demands for tracking budget execution and development of Continuing Restitution Authority financial needs were vital.  In addition, Williams ensured that all suspense’s were met and a professional product supplied.

Power Project Manager Jeffery Flowers said Williams is a great asset to the Mid Cumberland Area Office and her selection is well deserved.

“Lesslie willingly and patiently assists the MCA projects with any issues and tasks with her expertise in a wide variety of subject matter.  She willingly sacrifices her time with family to ensure all work requirements are completed and accurate,” Flowers said.

District leaders also highlighted her outstanding work in tracking budget development and execution. Williams compiled and prepared the planning, justifications, quotations, and statements of work for several MCA projects to ensure that fiscal guidelines were followed in the execution in fiscal years 2010 and 2011.

“By taking on all of these tasks with her superior work ethic and can-do attitude, Williams proved that she is an invaluable member of the Mid Cumberland Region Area. Congratulations Lesslie Williams on your accomplishment,” said Flowers.

Williams has been working in the Nashville District for nearly 16 years and is married to Harold Williams, a Nashville District senior mechanic retiree.  They have four children and two grandchildren.
