  • NR 12-009: Corps responds to Gaylord Entertainment lawsuit

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 30, 2012) – Although reported in the media, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Nashville District has not received official notice of a lawsuit to be filed by Gaylord Entertainment and the A.O. Smith Corporation. If and when the lawsuit is filed, the Corps will be represented by the Department of Justice and any further comment will come from DOJ.

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 19, 2012) – Celebrating Earth Day’s 42nd anniversary April 21, 2012, Nashville District lakes are uniting with local communities to promote this year’s Earth Day theme “Mobilize the Earth™” by raising awareness of environmental issues and providing opportunities for the public to participate in Earth-friendly activities.     NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 10, 2012) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District wants to return the remains of one Native American to their tribe after being found in Cheatham County last year.
