    CELINA, Tenn. (Sept. 11, 2023) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announces Dale Hollow Dam Road is closing to all traffic across the dam beginning 8 a.m. Sept. 18 until 5 p.m. Sept. 21, 2023, for inspection of the bridge and roadway, and spillway gates and supporting structures.

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 21, 2023) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announces partial closure of Shutes Branch Recreation Area July 24 - 26, 2023, for parking lot maintenance and re-striping.

    LONDON, Ky. (June 27, 2023) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announces that the Laurel River Dam Picnic Area is closed through July 31, 2023.

  • NR 23-12: Laurel Beach parking lot closed May 3 for maintenance

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 2, 2023) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announces that the Laurel Beach parking lot at Laurel River Lake in London, Kentucky, is closing Wednesday, May 3, 2023, while maintenance to the asphalt surface is accomplished.

  • NR 22-11: Cheatham Lock undergoing series of navigation closures

    ASHLAND CITY, Tenn. (April 28, 2022) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announces that Cheatham Lock at Cumberland River mile 148.6 is undergoing a series of closures from May 16 through Aug. 5.

  • NR 21-29: Dale Hollow Dam Road closing for scheduled maintenance

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 19, 2021) — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announces Dale Hollow Dam Road at the dam in Celina, Tennessee, is closing to all traffic 8 a.m. Wednesday, July 21, 2021, while personnel perform scheduled maintenance on the unit head gates. Due to the extensive nature of this work, there is no scheduled date for re-opening the roadway. However, the work is expected to take more than a month to complete.

    ASHLAND CITY, Tenn. (April 16, 2021) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announces that Cheatham Lock at Cumberland River mile 148.6 is undergoing a series of closures from April 22 through July 23.

    CELINA, Tenn. (April 27, 2020) — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announces Dale Hollow Dam Road at the dam in Celina, Tenn., is closing to all traffic 8 a.m. CST Monday, May 4, 2020 through Thursday, July 2, 2020 at 5 p.m., CST., as workers upgrade machinery at the dam.

(Jan. 15, 2020) — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announces Dale Hollow Dam Road at the dam in Celina, Tenn., is closing to all traffic 8 a.m. CST Monday, Feb. 10, 2020 while personnel perform scheduled maintenance. The road is expected to re-open Wednesday Feb. 12, 2020 at 5 p.m., CST.

  • NR 19-051: State highway over Center Hill Dam closing for maintenance

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Dec. 12, 2019) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announces that the section of State Highway 141/96 that crosses over Center Hill Dam in Lancaster, Tenn., is closing to all traffic 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 16-19, 2019 while workers conduct maintenance.
