    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Aug. 16, 2019) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District invites the public for a free tour of Cheatham Dam Lock and Dam and Hydropower Plant in Ashland City, Tenn., 11 a.m. Central Time Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019.

  • NR 18-007: Public invited for J. Percy Priest Dam Powerhouse tour on Stones River

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 22, 2018) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District at J. Percy Priest Dam & Reservoir is offering two free guided tours of the J. Percy Priest Hydroelectric Dam in celebration of the reservoir's 50th anniversary. Dam tours will be held Friday, June 29, 2018 at 11:45 a.m. and 1 p.m. There is a limit of 25 people per tour.

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 20, 2018) – In celebration of the 75th Anniversary of Dale Hollow Dam on the Obey River, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District invites the public for a free tour of Dale Hollow Dam Hydropower Plant in Celina, Tenn.

    CARTHAGE, Tenn. (May 12, 2016) – Cordell Hull Dam is offering free public tours of the powerhouse 9 a.m. Saturday, June 11, and 9 a.m. July 16.

  • NR 14-018: Nashville District awards $47.25 million contract to rehabilitate three Center Hill Dam hydropower units

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 26, 2014) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District awarded a $47,257,431 contract yesterday to Voith Hydro, Inc., to rehabilitate three hydropower units at the Center Hill Dam Powerhouse in Lancaster, Tenn.

  • NR 14-017: Corps offers more tours of Center Hill Dam Powerhouse

    LANCASTER, Tenn. (May 30, 2014) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District is offering more public tours of the Center Hill Dam Powerhouse here Saturday, July 19, Aug. 16, and Sept. 6, 2014. The free guided tours of the structure are at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., and noon and are approximately 45 minutes in length.

  • NR 14-016: Corps offering public tours of Wolf Creek Dam Powerhouse

    JAMESTOWN, Ky. (May 30, 2014) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District is offering public tours of the Wolf Creek Dam Powerhouse here Saturday, June 21, July 5, Aug. 16 and Sept. 6, 2014. The free guided tours of the structure are at noon and are approximately 45 minutes in length.

  • NR 14-010: Corps invites the public to tour Old Hickory Lock and Dam

    OLD HICKORY, Tenn. (May 8, 2014) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Old Hickory Lake is now accepting registration applications for the Saturday, May 17, lock and dam tour beginning at 11 a.m. at the Old Hickory Lock parking area. Free to the public and approximately 75 minutes in length, the guided tour will give registered participants an opportunity to not only view the facilities, but also learn about the lake’s history and important role the navigational lock and powerhouse facilities play with the cities and towns along the Cumberland River.
