  • 13-042: Nashville District gives contractors delivery instructions during shutdown

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Oct. 3, 2013) -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District requests all contractors awarded a contract with a delivery date or service performance date during the government shutdown to contact the receiving location to make arrangements for the delivery. Contractors are expected to execute all contracts as written. Deviations to contract can only be granted by the contracting officer.

    NASHVILLE, TENN. (Jan. 16, 2013) – The public information meeting on restricted areas around dams that was cancelled last night due to inclement weather has been rescheduled for 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013. The meeting will remain at the McGavock High School Auditorium located at 3150 McGavock Pike in Nashville, Tenn.
  • NR 12-047: Nashville District launches new public web site today

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Dec. 21, 2012) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District is launching a new public web site today. Although the site features an updated appearance, the Universal Resource Locator, or web address, remains www.lrn.usace.army.mil. The official switch will occur at noon central standard time, but it may take anywhere up to 24 hours for it to populate on servers for worldwide viewing.
