NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 6, 2014) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District has renovated the restrooms nearby the beach at Laurel River Dam in London, Ky., in time for the 2014 recreation season.
Workers replaced the roof, added exterior siding, installed interior floor tiles, added new doors and plumbing fixtures, and painted the interior walls and ceilings.
The Corps performed the renovations to better serve the recreating public at Laurel River Lake. The public is encouraged to help keep the restrooms in good condition and damage free. Witnesses of any vandalism to the restroom facility are asked to call the Corps Watch Hotline at 1-866-413-7970. Callers will remain anonymous.
