Published Oct. 3, 2013

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Oct. 3, 2013) -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District requests all contractors awarded a contract with a delivery date or service performance date during the government shutdown to contact the receiving location to make arrangements for the delivery. Contractors are expected to execute all contracts as written. Deviations to contract can only be granted by the contracting officer.

Should contractors be unable to reach the receiver, they should contact the Nashville District Contracting Division at 615-736-2031, 615-736-7946 or 615-736-7976.

Upon notice of government passing a new budget or a continuing resolution, the district will return to work the following day and all contracts will continue.

Should issues impacting performance develop during the government shutdown, contractors should contact the contracting officer’s representative or the contract specialist to work on a resolution following the shutdown.
