Fishing is reported to be good.
Largemouth Bass are being caught at night on soft plastic near grass flats. Smallmouth are being caught on steep chuck rock banks on hair jigs at night.
Currently 133 drownings have occurred on Dale Hollow Lake. Of those fatalities, 0 were wearing life jackets. Remember a lifejacket is like a seat belt, it only works when you wear it.
As of today 7/20/2015 at 6:00 a.m., the lake elevation for today is 649.87 above sea level and is slowly falling. The surface water temperature is 85 degrees, and at 10 ft it is 80 degrees.
Average July Pool Elevation at Dale Hollow Lake is approximately 645 feet above sea level.
